Man and the Machine is a studio portrait series that explores the quiet relationship between a human form and a machine built for movement. The work focuses on touch, posture, and presence where skin meets metal, breath brushes chrome, and stillness reveals connection. Shot entirely in-studio, the series draws on the sculptural intensity and tonal sensitivity to capture an interplay of resilience, vulnerability, and mechanical grace.

‘Man and the machine’ is a creative project brought to life by five individuals, all sharing a passion for freedom and motorcycles. Our journey began with a straightforward idea: exploring the bond between a rider and their motorcycle. We wanted to understand what makes the riding experience unforgettable.
